Pluto is situated in the famous Nature Reserve of Dungeness, a large shingle penninsula in South East England. The largest expanse of shingle in the world!
We offer a warm welcoming stay in a historical house. The house is named after Operation Pluto, the extraordinary Pipe Line Under the Ocean to help fuel the advance of the liberating armies from the Normandy Invasion. The house was built to disguise the second world war pump room. The fuel was pumped through a pipe across the Channel from this house to the Normandy Beaches. The building fooled many enemy aircraft overhead and secured the success of the project.
Our Bed & Breakfast offers a Family Room with en-suite facilities and a Jacuzzi Bath. Also we offer twin, double & single rooms.
All our accommodation includes colour television, tea & coffee making facilities along with views of the coast and the nature reserve.
