This "olde worlde" guest house located in the middle of Dymchurch town,  is named after "Dr Syns" the mythical character  created by actor & author Russel Thorndike.You can learn more about him here and about the pageant in Dymchurch Town held on August Bank Holiday Weekend every even numbered year.

We are perfectly located for touring Romney Marsh and visiting Hythe, New Romney, Lydd, Littlestone, Greatstone, Folkestone, St. Marys Bay, Port Lympne Castle, Sissinghurst Castle, Leeds Castle, Dover Castle, Rye, Camber Sands, Canterbury, Ashford, Dungeness, The world-famous Romney, Hythe, and Dymchurch Railway is close by, Brands Hatch Race track is only 45 minutes drive along the M20 and if you are travelling to France the Eurotunnel is only 15 minutes away.
